QuickTime file
with animation codec and possibly other types of codec:
Symptom:
Reel-Check or Vidscope hangs on trying to find QuickTime decoding at the
Solution 1 stage.
Reason: One of
the file readers (ndparser.ax) appears to conflict with this file type
so to disable
in DirectShow use the Direct Show Filter Manager DSFmgr.exe tool from
www.softella.com
Find the filter
in the listing:
Click on
"Remove selected filter". Close DSFmgr
Try and run the
problem .mov or .qt file either with either Vidscope or Reel-Check
